PLAY AT RUSH
EXPERIENCE RUSH.
FIND YOUR COMMUNITY.
Rush is now open to the Austin community through two weekly programs: Open Grounds, our Saturday community morning, and Rush Academy, a drop-in clinic for new and beginner players.
These sessions are the best way to experience Rush while the rest of the campus continues to take shape. Private court bookings and most other weekly programming remain reserved for Founding Members and invited players.
As new courts and facilities open, we’ll continue expanding public programming and booking opportunities. Register for Open Grounds or Rush Academy - we’d love to meet you.

-
Yes, all group sessions must be booked in advance using the Rush App.
If you’d like to be able to book private courts, check out our Membership page.
-
When arriving at Rush to play, follow the signs to the check in desk, and use the QR code in your Rush App to complete check-in.
Where possible, try to arrive early for your session so you can get checked in and warmed up.
-
Paddle: We offer standard and premium paddles for rental and purchase if you don’t have one already.
Shoes: For regular time on court, we recommend any kind of court shoes or tennis shoes to protect both your footing and our playing surfaces - but don’t worry too much if you don’t have them.
Clothes: We recommend comfortable athletic attire suited for movement.
-
Reservations can be cancelled in the Rush App up to 24 hours before the start time of the event. With less than 24 hours notice, there are no refunds for cancellations.
If you are more than 10 minutes late for a session, the session host may not be able to hold your spot - so set off early!
-
If weather prevents a session from starting, or if a session is cancelled in advance due to the forecast, refunds will be issued to all registrants and notifications will be sent via email.
In the event that weather conditions affect court playability once a session has started, or if a session cannot be started, refunds may be issued to guests at the discretion of the Rush Crew.
-
Youth players aged 14 and over are welcome to participate in most programs unless otherwise noted.
Children under the age of 14 are welcome to spend time at Rush but must be fully supervised by an adult at all times. Please use your discretion in helping us preserve the Rush ambiance for all members and guests.
-
If you already know the rules of pickleball and can confidently join games with other players, we recommend registering for Open Grounds, which is open to all levels of experience levels. The Rush Crew will be able to offer further guidance from there.
If you’ve never played pickleball before, or aren’t confident with jumping straight into games just yet, come to Rush Academy for a low pressure introduction to the sport.

During Phase 1, only Founding Members are able to book courts as unique privilege awarded to those who are helping build the club.
